NAP of the Day – Wednesday 17th July

A busy day as we try and break a poor run for the daily nap. Action today comes from Uttoxeter over jumps , with flat cards at Thirsk, Bath, Killarney, Yarmouth and Ffos Las.

Champions A Show To Get Excited About

Yesterday I was very lucky to see an advance screening of the first episode of Champions. This is a six part show designed to really get behind the scenes of jumps racing with brilliant access to jockeys, the first episode left me wanting more. The biggest praise I can give the first episode is that I think it will resonate both with die hard fans and the more causal audience racing needs to grow. It launches 9pm on Friday and you can see the trailer below.

NAP of The Day

Yarmouth hosts a restricted maiden over seven furlongs, and I would be disappointed if Fine Interview doesn’t get the job done in this company. His fine second on debut over six at Yarmouth looks to have worked out as good form in the context of this type of contest. The only doubt is potentially the lack of a recent run compared to others in here. Baring that I really like the look of his chances and I think he can give his trainer a second UK winner today.
