Jadon Sancho Next Club Odds – Banished from Man U Top Team, Where Next?

Jadon Sancho next club odds

One of the most talked about players in world of football right now in terms of his future is Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho. After leaving Manchester City in 2017, the Londoner’s stature in the game quickly rose in Germany with Borussia Dortmund, where he was one of the best players in the Bundesliga. The numbers he posted – goals and assists – made him the target of some of the world’s leading clubs, and Manchester United signed Sancho in a mega-money deal in 2021.

However, since arriving at Old Trafford, the twenty-three-year-old has failed to get anywhere near the levels expected of him, with just twelve goals scored and eight assists in over eighty appearances. Alongside disappointing form, there have been issues away from the field, some disciplinary, which has seen Sancho removed from first-team training to continue working alone elsewhere. At present, Sancho is not involved with the first team at Manchester United, and this doesn’t look likely to change.

There is a current standoff between Sancho and manager Erik ten Hag, so it’s probable that the former will be leaving the club in the January transfer window or, at the very latest, in the summer. And as you will expect, a lot of Europe’s top clubs are being linked with a move for the Englishman based on what he achieved at Borussia Dortmund just several seasons ago.

Will he stay at Manchester United?

Transfer rumours and football odds suggest that Sancho is highly unlikely to stay at Manchester United unless there’s some form of dramatic turnaround and a huge change of heart. The player, capped twenty-three times at senior level by England, has been exiled from the club by manager Ten Hag after internal disciplinary matters. But it was expected that after they were resolved, he’d return to first-team training and then the squad, as has been the case with other players.

However, after Ten Hag spoke about Sancho’s situation in the media, it led to the player making posts on social media that suggested his manager wasn’t being entirely truthful. This course of action by Sancho escalated the situation further, and he’s not been at the club since.

Reports suggest that Ten Hag is demanding an apology from the winger before he is considered part of the Manchester United squad again. Reports also suggest Sancho is unwilling to apologise as he feels that he has nothing to apologise for. So, ultimately, with neither side currently willing to concede, it’s unlikely that he will stay at Manchester United. But for Sancho to leave the club, there would need to be agreements all round. The deal would have to be right for Manchester United as a club, and Sancho himself would also have to fancy the move too.

Will he go to Juventus or any other Italian club?

Italian giants Juventus were one of the first clubs linked with a move for Sancho after reports suggested he could be on the move in the upcoming January transfer window. However, news out of Italy states that Juve will be working with a smaller budget this winter, which means they’d be unable to afford to finance a move for the winger, even though he’s a player they covet.

The same will naturally apply to most Serie A outfits. However, there’s some belief that a loan move to Italy could happen if Manchester United were willing to subsidise the player’s wages. Any transfer fee and Sancho’s wages will likely be a stumbling block for a lot of teams who want to acquire the player’s services, which is why Manchester United odds in terms of Sancho staying put are still available at a short price.

Former employers Borussia Dortmund have been tipped as having registered an interest in taking Sancho back to Germany, a move you’d imagine he would be open to. Cash-rich Saudi clubs have also been linked, and they could afford to pay Manchester United’s asking price, Sancho’s wages, and then some.

Finally, there are Arsenal odds listed in the market for betting on Sancho’s next club. The Gunners are always open to buying younger players, especially British, and his arrival would add further quality and depth to their wide positions. That depth could also help Arsenal in their title challenge, which, according to Premier League betting markets, they have a good chance of going all the way this term.
