Chelsea 2-1 Leeds
It’s been an ideal start for Liam Rosenior, they cruised to the win at Molineux against an admittedly poor Wolves side. Still, you can only beat what’s in front of you and right now, Chelsea look well placed for a top four finish.
Leeds were impressive against Forest, cruising to the win on Friday night. They’ve been very good at home of late, but they need to take some of that form with them on the road between now and the end of the season.
I think Chelsea narrowly edge this, but I don’t expect to see a lot in this one.
One to watch- Cole Palmer got a hat-trick at the weekend, and hopefully that’s him getting back to his best after a quiet period.
Everton 1-1 Bournemouth
Everton are having a great spell right now under Moyes, that’s them now up to 8th in the table and just a couple of points behind Liverpool! I didn’t expect them to go to Fulham and win, fair play to them.
Bournemouth are another side in good form, even if they’ll be a little disappointed with just a point at home to Villa. Still, it’s been a good month for the club after a difficult winter.
I’m going for the draw; I think we’ll see a good game.
One to watch- It looks like Bournemouth have discovered another gem, Rayan looks a really good prospect.
Spurs 1-1 Newcastle
This feels like a big game for both and for their chances for the rest of the season. For Spurs, they better be careful to not get dragged into a relegation fight at this rate!
Three defeats in a row have really dented Newcastle’s chances in the top four race, it’s been a disappointing season for them.
Two sides that are out of form, I can see a draw.
One to watch- Woltemade started so well for Newcastle, but he’s really struggling at the minute. He badly needs a goal.
West Ham 1-2 Man Utd
West Ham have really improved in recent weeks, and boy did they need that. I was very worried about them, but they’ve given themselves a chance of safety and they’ll be up for this one.
Things couldn’t be going better for Michael Carrick, and he faces another of his old sides here. Four wins from four, that fella on the internet might finally get his haircut!
I think United have so much belief, so much momentum, I’m picking them.
One to watch – I’ve been so impressed by Bruno Fernandes this season. Week after week, he steps up for his side.
Villa 2-0 Brighton
It’s been a tough spell for Villa; they dropped more points away to Bournemouth at the weekend. A top four finish is their priority, and a win here will keep them on track.
Brighton, now this is a side I’m beginning to worry about. Their form is awful and I’m just not sure about the mood at the club right now. Another side that will be beginning to look over their shoulders.
I’m going for a routine home win.
One to watch- Morgan Rogers continues to be Villa’s best player week in, week out.
Palace 2-0 Burnley
Boy did Palace need that win over Brighton, that should give the entire club a lift. I know there’s been a lot of frustration over the last month, but this could still be a great season for them if they go far in Europe.
It feels like Burnley are just wanting the season to end now, it’s been a very difficult season for them.
2-0.
One to watch- This is a good chance for Strand Larsen to kickstart his Palace career with a goal.
Man City 2-0 Fulham
What a moment, what a win for City at Anfield. With 15 minutes to go, I thought the title was race was done. Now, it’s all to play for. I just think that win will give everyone such a huge psychological lift and I can see City going on one of their trademark runs at this time of the season when they win game after game.
Fulham are a frustrating side. Just when I fancy them to threaten the top six, they go and lose two on the bounce!
I have to pick City here, 2-0.
One to watch- I thought Guehi was superb at Anfield, I think he’s taken this team up a level defensively and could prove to be a masterstroke.
Forest 2-0 Wolves
Forest were disappointing at Leeds and even worse, West Ham won again. All of a sudden, they’ve closed that gap and there’s some pressure on Dyche’s side again. This is a must-win.
Wolves, what can I say? At this rate, Derby’s lowest points record could be in serious threat.
Surely Forest win this. 2-0.
One to watch- Lucca came on and scored for Forest the other night after signing from Napoli, and he looks a real threat. He’s one to watch, you can hardly miss the lad!
Sunderland 1-1 Liverpool
Sunderland didn’t really lay a glove on Arsenal, but they’re back at home here and we’ve seen all season, teams don’t enjoy coming here!
This feels massive for Liverpool’s season. To throw that City game away was frustrating and this will be far from easy, particularly without Szoboszlai. Don’t get me started on that red card by the way!
I’m leaning towards a draw.
One to watch- He didn’t have his best game against City, but Liverpool will need Ekitike at his best here, he seems their main threat right now.
Brentford 1-2 Arsenal
Here we go, what a massive game. Brentford keep winning, keep grinding out results and who knows, they might end up in that Champions League race! What a season they’ve had.
How will Arsenal respond to that City comeback against Liverpool and playing a day after City here? There’s some pressure on them; it’s up to them to respond.
I can see a very even game, a nervy night! I think Arsenal will win, but only just!
One to watch- Big players deliver in the biggest moments, this is the sort of occasion that Gyokeres needs to deliver for his side. He got a couple at the weekend, so he should be feeling good!
