It’s time for another week of Euroleague action, with many of the 9 games scheduled for the 30th and 31st of January 2025 proving to be pivotal in terms of standings. The top of the 2024/25 Euroleague is still hotly contested, while ALBA Berlin remains struggling at the very bottom of the table. We share a preview of all of the games that are tipping off this week, with EuroLeague basketball betting odds available for each right here at BetVictor!

Zalgiris vs. Bayern Munich

The first match of the week is Zalgiris against Bayern Munich, with these teams holding 11-12 and 13-10 records, respectively. When looking at the head-to-head of these teams, it’s relatively even (3-2 in favour of Zalgiris). The score lines are often incredibly close, too, making this game the one to watch in round 24.

In their last face-off during Round 8, Bayern secured a slim triumph over Zalgiris with a final score of 77-74. The limelight will, unquestionably, shine on Carsen Edwards from Bayern Munich, due to his Round 23 MVP performance, which saw him tally an incredible 34 points against ALBA Berlin.

Maccabi Tel Aviv vs. ALBA Berlin

Maccabi’s record stands at 6-17 after a recent victory over Zvezda, which will likely boost the confidence of this team and inspire them to start climbing the Euroleague standings. They’re facing off against ALBA Berlin, who are rooted to the bottom of the Euroleague table after finding only 3 wins from the 23 games they’ve played this season.

While both Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and ALBA Berlin have displayed strong teamwork, individual talent will be pivotal in determining the outcome of this one. Look out for John DiBartolomeo’s shooting skills, Tamir Blatt’s agile playmaking, and Rokas Jokubaitis’ versatility as they aim to lead Maccabi to victory.

Paris vs. LDLC ASVEL

• Date: Thursday 30th of January 2025

• Time: 19:30 pm BST

It’s an all-French encounter in game 3 of week 24, with Paris facing off against LDLC ASVEL, with records of 13-9 and 11-12, respectively. In their previous encounter in Round 15, ASVEL emerged victorious with a score of 98-93. However, the Euroleague betting odds are currently favouring Paris rather heavily in this encounter, with the point spread sitting at -5.5.

Another factor to consider is the home form of Paris. They’ve won all five of their recent games at the Adidas Arena in all competitions, making this a truly uphill battle for the Villeurbanne-based team.

Milan vs. Panathinaikos

Milan, with a record of 12-11, is gearing up to face Panathinaikos, who stand at 14-9 in round 24. This game is crucial to the campaigns of both teams, both of whom can still make a charge for the top spot. Arguably, this game is more important for the Italian side, as Panathinaikos can still realistically contest for a first-place finish, even with a loss in this encounter.

Kendrick Nunn is one to watch here, as he tallied up an impressive 26-point performance against Zalgiris last week. On the other hand, Freddy Gillespie of Milan had a less impressive showing in their last defeat, only contributing 2 points despite securing 10 rebounds. If Milan are to get an upset in this match-up, Gillespie will need to step up and make every rebound count.

Baskonia vs. Barcelona

• Time: 19:30 pm BST

Coach Joan Penarroya seeks redemption following Barcelona’s recent loss to ASVEL, which few experts or fans saw coming. They sit at 13-10 currently, with their upcoming opponents, Baskonia, having a 9-14 record so far this season.

Chima Moneke from Baskonia recorded an impressive double-double in the last game with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Meanwhile, Jabari Parker of Barcelona scored an outstanding 18 points, including five successful three-pointers out of seven attempts. These two will be the players to watch from their respective teams as Barcelona looks to continue their march up the table!

Fenerbahce vs. Virtus Bologna

• Date: Friday 31st of January 2025

• Time: 17:30 pm BST

Fenerbahce, with a record of 15-7, will be entering this game in good spirits after winning all five of their last matches. In contrast, Virtus Bologna stands at 7-16, currently sitting in 16th place in the 2024/25 Euroleague.

This could be a real disaster for Virtus Bologna, with an in-form Fenerbahce looking to run riot inside the Ülker Sports Arena. This is reinforced by the current Euroleague betting spread, which leans in the favor of the Turkish side by an impressive 9.5 points.

Monaco vs. Real Madrid

• Date: Friday 31st of January 2025

• Time: 18:00 pm BST

Next up is Monaco, who currently sits in third with a record of 14-9, facing off against Real Madrid. The Spanish team sits three places below Monaco in sixth, despite only having one less win than them this season (13-10).

For Monaco, Mike James will be the player to pay attention to this week, after scoring an impressive 24 points against Virtus Bologna last week. Facundo Campazzo is the real threat for Real Madrid in this encounter, as he racked up an incredible 22 points and facilitated six assists in his last Euroleague outing.

Olympiacos vs. Anadolu Efes

• Date: Friday 31st of January 2025

• Time: 19:15 pm BST

Olympiacos currently lead the Euroleague, sitting one win above Fenerbahce with a record of 16-7. Their opponents have a negative 11-12 record. However, Anadolu Efes did manage to stun Olympiacos in their last meeting, winning by two points in what was an incredibly entertaining match.

A win here is much needed for the Greek team, having lost their cushion towards the top of the table after a home defeat to Fenerbahce last week. For Anadolu Efes, they would like nothing more than to spoil the party and following their 110-66 demolition of Milano last Thursday, they will certainly be up for the challenge.

Partizan vs. Crvena Zvezda

• Time: 19:30 pm BST  

The final game of the week is Partizan vs Crvena Zvezda in a mid-table clash. Partizan is currently 10th in the table with a record of 12-11, while Crvena Zvezda is two places above in 8th after racking up one more win in the same number of games (13-10).

In this game, the performance of standout players such as Milos Teodosic will likely have a huge impact. Teodosic had a huge impact in Crvena Zvezda’s last game, registering 15 points and 5 assists. A repeat of this could give the edge to Crvena Zvezda. However, the Partizan team is full of consistent players such as Carlik Jones and Isaac Bonga, amongst others.
