The Favourites

  • Fact to file – priced at 9/4* and trained by Willie Mullins. Out of all its 7 races, Fact to File has won 4 of them and placed second in 3 of them.
  • Stay Away Fay – priced at 3/1* and trained by Paul Nicholls. This 7 year old gelding won the Albert Bartlett Novices Chase at Cheltenham last year and is now looking for more.
  • Grey Dawning – priced at 4/1* and trained by Dan Skelton.

The Dark Horses

The outsiders in the race have also had spectacular recent form, which really ups the ante of the whole event and goes to show how competitive this market is.

  • Gaelic Warrior – priced at 8/1* and trained by Willie Mullins. This horse unseated its rider in its most recent meeting at Leopardstown, but Warrior has more than proven itself capable of giving everyone else a run for their money.
  • Il Etait Temps – priced at 14/1* and trained by Willie Mullins. Il Etait Temps has had a fantastic 2023 season and a promising start to 2024, recently winning the Irish Arkle Novices Chase.
