The Most Premier League Assists Of All-Time

10. James Milner – 90 Assists

Although James Milner is widely ignored when it comes to debating the best Premier League players of all-time, there is no denying his longevity in England’s elite was rarely matched. Milner spent his entire career in the Premier League and accumulated 90 assists from his record-breaking 658 appearances.

9. Steven Gerrard – 92 Assists

Having made his debut in 1998, Steven Gerrard went on register 92 assists from his 504 Premier League appearances. The Liverpool legend was the driving force behind a glory-laded 17-year spell on Anfield. And that despite the league title eluding him.

8. David Silva – 93 Assists

Having spent his prime years at Premier League betting favourites Man City, super Spaniard David Silva takes 8th spot with 93 assists. Silva represented the Cityzens between 2010 and 2020 and made ‘just’ 309 top flight appearances. Meaning he provided a league assist on average once every four games.

7. Mo Salah – 94 Assists

Not only is Mo Salah Liverpool’s record Premier League goalscorer, the Egyptian King can also boast the most assists for the Merseysiders in England’s elite. Salah provided 94 goals for teammates throughout his hugely successful nine-year spell at Anfield.

6. Dennis Bergkamp – 94 assists

Registering the same number of assists as Mo Salah, Netherlands and Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp is just outside the top five places. Bergkamp sparkled at Highbury and was part of the legendary Invincibles side of 2003-04.

5. Frank Lampard – 102 Assists

Frank Lampard takes position five when it comes to the most Premier League assists of all-time. The Chelsea legend registered 102 across his spells with the Blues, West Ham and Man City. Lampard is considered one of the greatest ever midfielders to grace the beautiful game.

4. Wayne Rooney – 103 Assists

Boyhood Everton fan and Man United legend Wayne Rooney chipped in with 103 assists across his 491 Premier League appearances. His most famous and arguably the greatest assist the division has witnessed is when he angled a ball from inside his home half for Robin van Persie to lash home. Helping clinch the 2012-13 title in the process.

3. Cesc Fabregas – 111 Assists

When it comes to the 2026-27 Serie A odds, Cesc Fabregas’ Como are ranked at 33/1 outsiders. However, if he can continue to flourish in the dugout – just as he did in his Premier League playing career – I Lariani could realistically challenge for the title. Something of which Fab won in England twice whilst registering an astonishing 111 assists.

2. Kevin De Bruyne – 119 Assists

‘King’ Kevin De Bruyne is widely considered as Man City’s greatest ever player and it’s easy to see why. The Belgian baller led the Cityzens to six titles and contributed with an astonishing 119 assists across 288 appearances.

1. Ryan Giggs – 162 Assists

Ryan Giggs has the most Premier League assists of all-time with 162. The Man United legend spent his entire 24-year playing career at Old Trafford and also lifted a record-breaking 13 titles. It will take a herculean effort to break either record.
