Mo Salah Next Club Odds: Five Possible Destinations For Liverpool’s Egyptian King

The Mo Salah next club odds have emerged after the Liverpool legend announced he will be leaving Anfield at the end of the 2025-26 season.

Salah revealed on social media on March 24 that the current campaign would be his last on Merseyside. Having joined from Roma in 2017, Salah has enjoyed a stunning nine years with the Reds which saw him land two Premier League titles as well as the 2019 Champions League.

Under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp and Arne Slot, he amassed a total of 255 goals and 122 assists across 435 appearances in all competitions – breaking a number of club and league records along the way. Naturally, Salah is widely regarded as one of Liverpool’s greatest-ever players.

He is currently the club’s third-highest scorer of all-time behind legends Ian Rush and Roger Hunt. The news will come as a huge blow to supporters who would be hoping that Salah would see out the end of his contract. Which was due to expire in 2027.

Nonetheless, Salah has decided that the time is right to try a new venture. His last appearance for the club is likely to come against Brentford on May 24 – whereby he’ll receive an emotional farewell.

Until then, BetVictor News, takes a closer look at the Mo Salah transfer betting market and analyses five potential destinations for the 33-year-old superstar.

Mo Salah Next Club Odds

Any Saudi Pro League Club (6/4)

Moving from Merseyside to the Middle East is certainly where the smartest money lies. Especially as Mo Salah could earn an astronomical figure for making the switch to any Saudi Pro League club. A certain Cristiano Ronaldo already represents Al Nassr – imagine the global attention if he was to pair with the Portuguese legend in his twilight years?

The financial pull and power in Saudi Arabia is certainly a tempting option from Salah’s perspective. He reportedly pockets around £400k per week in England and could easily quadruple that if he was to see out his professional career in Asia. His profile alone would help boost the league further.

Any MLS Club (2/1)

Similar to the Saudi Pro League, MLS has the potential to lure Mo Salah to the United States. The financial reward is just as fruitful and a number of top European-based attackers have made the switch to the US over the last two decades.

Whereas Saudi boast Cristiano Ronaldo, MLS has Lionel Messi in their armoury. Messi – who’s Argentina side are one of the favourites in BetVictor’s World Cup outright betting market – is currently employed by David Beckham’s Inter Miami. A switch Stateside is certainly an attractive option for Salah and his family.

Any French Club (8/1)

Realistically, their is only one club in France who would be able to afford and tempt Mo Salah. And that is global giants PSG. The Parisians – who are currently 5/1 in Champions League betting to retain their crown – will provide Salah a platform to continue performing in Europe.

If he were to switch Liverpool for Paris, Salah would link up with the likes of Ballon d’or winner Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha and Marquinhos to name but a few. Affording his wage demands wouldn’t be an issue, either.

Any Spanish Club (8/1)

Mo Salah had often been linked with global giants Barcelona and Real Madrid during his prime at Liverpool but stayed true to the Reds. The two LaLiga heavyweights will certainly be intrigued by Salah’s availability this summer alongside Atletico Madrid.

Similar to the rest of the contenders, the trio would be able to afford Salah’s wages but it may take some persuasion. Paying out approximately £400k+ per week for a 33-year-old may seem bold, but it could pay dividends. One last dance and one last shot at major European silverware may tempt either clubs board to shell out. Even more so with the cash that can be generated via merchandise sales.

Any Italian Club (8/1)

It may seem a long-shot but a return to Serie A isn’t beyond the realm of possibility. Granted, Mo Salah would have to take a hefty pay-cut but the pace and style of football would be a huge benefit. Even more so in the latter stage of his career.

Salah previously represented Roma and had a loan spell at Fiorentina. During his time in Rome, he scored a total of 34 goals in 83 outings. Such a return led to Liverpool forking out £36.5million for his services. And after his exploits in England, appears like loose change.

*Odds are correct as of 10am, Wednesday March 25, 2026. Market is for Mohamed Salah to join before September 1, 2026.
