Harry Redknapp’s Team of the Week: Week 21

In goal, I’m going for Kelleher. He had a great game against Sunderland; he deserved that clean sheet. Obviously, he saved a penalty as well, you can’t do much more than that as a keeper. Don’t get me wrong, I think I’d have saved than pen, flipping heck what was that?!

I’m putting Lewis Miley at right-back. The young lad’s been excellent for Newcastle over the last few games, even in an unnatural position. For a young player to do so well out of position tells me a lot, he’s clearly a good character and obviously Eddie has a lot of trust in him.

Guehi’s in the side, what a top player he is. He had another great game against Villa; I’ve been so impressed by him on and off the park this season. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with him but if he does go this month, he’s been a fantastic skipper for Palace.

Senesi’s going in the side. Bournemouth have lost so many players, particularly defenders, this lad feels like the last one standing. He’s a good centre-half though, very solid and he’s always nice and composed on the ball. He had a good game against Spurs.

I’m picking Kerkez at left-back. He’s had a strange season, I really liked him at Bournemouth, but he didn’t start well for Liverpool. He’s beginning to show his quality though and he had a good game against Arsenal. There aren’t many players in world football that can live with Saka at his best but he did a good job.

Semenyo’s been amazing for Bournemouth and what a great way to say goodbye, it doesn’t get better than a last-minute winner! He’s going to be such a big player to replace for Bournemouth, but his attitude’s been fantastic, and he deserves his big move.

There’s been a lot of doom and gloom at Wolves but all of a sudden, the results have picked up and a lot of that is because of young Mateus Mane. He’s scored in his last couple of games and looks a very good prospect. I read some of the big clubs are already looking at him, and I can see why.

I keep mentioning him but no wonder, Harry Wilson has been in unbelievable form! There aren’t many players in the league playing better than this lad at the minute, he’s delivering every week. That winner against Chelsea was top class. We all know he has a wand of a left-foot, but I don’t think he could slot that away on his right.

Another Fulham player, Sander Berge. This boy is such a presence in the heart of midfield, and when he plays at his best, he can dominate that area with his size and quality. He’s very classy, very composed on the ball and he’s someone that people thought very highly of when he was younger, and it looks like he’s developing into the player people thought he could be.

Harvey Barnes has to be in the side. What a ridiculous game that was against Leeds, and Barnes got himself a couple of goals. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! He’s been one of Newcastle’s best players this season.

Igor Thiago has to be the star man, his fella can’t stop scoring! A hat-trick the other day and then a couple of goals against Sunderland, what a week for the lad. He’s been a revelation for Brentford, and he’s got to be one of the stories of the season. You can tell he’s full of confidence, he’s taking his goals so well.

Manager – A very tough one here, Marco Silva or Keith Andrews? I’m going to go with Silva, just because of the teams Fulham have faced. They got a deserved point at the weekend against Liverpool and then beat Chelsea in the derby, what a week. Whisper it, but Fulham might be in the top six race. He’s been doing a great job here for years.
