Harry Redknapp's Premier League Predictions

Arsenal 2-0 Wolves

Arsenal were exceptional during the week against Lens, just fantastic. When they play like that, they’re a joy to watch. Raya will be back in the side this week, I’ve got to say I feel for young Ramsdale, this is a tough situation for the lad.

I don’t know what Gary O’Neill and Wolves have done to deserve this luck this season! They’ve had so many decisions go against them; it feels like they’ve had more apologies than points this season! I’m not sure either of those two penalties on Monday should have been given.

Unfortunately for Wolves I can’t see it getting any better here, 2-0 Arsenal.

One to watch- The winner at Brentford last week and a goal during the week, is Havertz beginning to settle in?

Brentford 2-0 Luton

Brentford did what they always do last week against Arsenal and made it a difficult game for them. This side are so hard to beat at home and always have a threat about them going forward.

Luton are on a good run of form at the minute, that was a massive win for them against Palace last week. Their away record isn’t so good, that will need to improve for them to have any chance of safety.

I’ve got to pick Brentford.

One to watch- I always mention him, I’m a big fan of Mbuemo. He’s got so much pace and a lovely left peg as well.

Burnley 1-0 Sheffield United

What a massive game for both sides. It’s still relatively early in the season but it feels like a relegation six-pointer. I’ve had my fair share of these games and all you want is the win, forget the performance!

It’s just not happened for Burnley this season, I’m surprised. That defeat to West Ham was a big blow for them, they’ve got to try and take the positives from the performance though.

Sheffield United were poor against Bournemouth last week though, they have to be doing better in these home games.

Burnley finished well above Sheffield United in the Championship last season; they have to fancy this one.

One to watch- He got a goal last week and Jay Rodriguez’s experience could be vital in a game like this.

Nottingham Forest 1-1 Everton

That’s a couple of defeats in a row for Forest, that Brighton one last week was tough to take. I’m seeing some people say Steve Cooper is now under a bit of pressure, tell me a manager in the Premier League whose not under pressure! You lose a couple of games in this league and people want you sacked, it’s crazy.

I really fancied Everton last week against United. I know they got beat but they actually played well in spells and had plenty chances. That wondergoal from Garnacho seemed to just deflate the whole crowd and team.

I really don’t see a great deal of difference between these two, I can see a draw.

One to watch- Calvert-Lewin had a couple of chances against United last week and didn’t take them, I can’t see that happening again.

Newcastle 2-1 Man United

What a game this will be. I can’t believe how well Newcastle are doing despite their injuries, what a job Eddie is doing. Look at the bench against Chelsea last week, three keepers and a few kids on it. That’s got to be a record, three keepers on the bench! They showed so much character in Paris on Tuesday, I’m gutted for them after the decision. If that’s a penalty, we’ll be seeing 3 or 4 a game now. Terrible.

Speaking of great games, what a game that was in Istanbul on Wednesday! I couldn’t believe what I was watching, there wasn’t much defending going on that’s for sure. Going forward, United look like they have a real threat, but defensively, there’s big issues. I don’t like singling out the lad, but Onana is costing them in too many games right now.

With those fans behind them, Newcastle take some stopping. I’m going for a 2-1 home win.

One to watch- Young Lewis Miley looks like a proper player. I can’t believe the boy’s age, check his passport! 17?

Chelsea 1-1 Brighton

I’m looking forward to this one. I feel like giving up trying to predict Chelsea, this side is just so unpredictable. There’s so much quality going forward but they concede far too many goals at the other end.

That was a big win for Brighton at Forest, they really needed that. De Zerbi’s celebration at the end showed how important that was. It was nice to see young Ferguson scoring again, what a talent he is.

Obviously, Chelsea have signed and hired so many people from Brighton over the last season or so but I don’t know if that will make them any better on the pitch. I’m going for a draw.

One to watch- Chelsea paid a huge sum for him, how will Caicedo get on against his old side?

Liverpool 3-0 Fulham

After conceding early, that was a brilliant point for Liverpool last week at City. Now back at home, they’ll really fancy themselves to go on a winning run.

Fulham won on Monday, I’m not sure how much they deserved it though. I mentioned it earlier, but I’m not convinced by either of those penalties. What I will say, is that Willian took both brilliantly.

I can only see a comfortable Liverpool win.

One to watch- I don’t know what the argument with Pep was all about but Darwin Nunez has been in great form for his country of late. He’ll fancy one here.

West Ham 1-1 Palace

What a win that was for West Ham at Burnley last week. I’m sure David Moyes would have taken a draw going into the last five minutes, to go and win it must have felt brilliant. I’m not sure how they’ll recover from that trip to Serbia for the Europa League though, it’s never easy doing that and coming back to play on the Sunday.

Michael Olise must have been furious at Garnacho last weekend, in any other week that’s the goal of the weekend! That lad’s a really classy player, Palace will need him to keep that form up,

That defeat to Luton last week was a shock, but I can see Palace responding here. I can’t see a thriller, 1-1.

One to watch- After that goal last week and Eze being out injured, there’s a lot of responsibility on Olise.

Bournemouth 0-2 Villa

Bournemouth seem to have turned the corner under their new gaffer, that was a big win for them at Sheffield United last week. That’s put a bit of a gap between them and the bottom three and they’ve got some winnable fixtures coming up.

I’m not sure it will start here though, Villa are flying. It was a poor start for them at Spurs last week, they looked shaky. They stayed in the game though and managed to turn it around, that’s the sign of a proper team. If they keep winning, forget the top four, this side might be in a title race!

I’m going for a 2-0 Villa win.

One to watch- It’s got to be Ollie Watkins, hasn’t it? This boy can’t stop scoring!

City 3-1 Spurs

Here we go, the big one! Pep was probably annoyed to not get the win against Liverpool last week, they let that one slip. That was a great comeback from them during the week against Leipzig though, they probably feel unbeatable at home.

That’s three defeats in a row for Spurs, Ange has to be concerned. The injuries keep mounting up for his side as well, it’s a really difficult spell for them. They’ve still been creating chances though and with the likes of Son and Kulusevski still in the side, they’ll always be a threat.

I can see Spurs scoring but I can only see a City win. Doku looks like such a threat and with him on one side, Foden on the other, City will be such a hard side to stop.

One to watch- I could pick anyone in this City side, I’m going for Foden though. He was superb during the week and enters this one in brilliant form.
