Harry Redknapp Premier League Preview

Brentford have been a little inconsistent on the road but at home, they’ve been as good as anyone. They’ve had some great wins here this season and they’ll be expectant here.

Brentford 2-0 Burnley

I can’t fault the attitude of those Burnley lads, but they just seem to lack that little bit of quality. I’m just not sure they have enough about them to hurt Brentford here.

2-0 to the home side.

One to watch – It has to be Igor Thiago, only Haaland has more goals so far this season!

Sunderland 2-2 Bournemouth

I can see a really good game here. Sunderland have done exactly what they needed to do and made the Stadium of Light a real fortress. No team will enjoy going here.

Bournemouth have dropped off in the last couple of weeks, but they fought back well to get a point against West Ham last week.

2-2 last week for Bournemouth, I’m saying the same here!

One to watch- I’m already seeing plenty of rumours about Semenyo’s future. Hopefully the club can keep him around until the end of the season at least.

Man City 3-0 Leeds

I didn’t see City’s defeat to Newcastle coming back but that sums up where City have been for the last year, every time they look like they’ve found their best they go on and drop points!

It’s a worrying time for Leeds at the minute, they just don’t threaten teams enough and I know the fans are concerned. This could be a tough trip for them.

I’m going for 3-0 City.

One to watch- City are more dependent on Haaland than ever, it’s crazy. They’re like a one-man team!

Everton 2-1 Newcastle

What a win that was for Everton the other night at Old Trafford. The less said about the red card the better but the fighting spirit they showed after it was amazing and Moyes must have been so proud of his lads.

Newcastle are having a really strange, inconsistent season. Most of their issues seem to be on the road, they obviously got beat again the other night in Marseille but that’s never an easy place to go.

I just think Everton might still be buoyant and can win this.

One to watch- Jordan Pickford was magnificent against United and he’ll love playing Newcastle, he’s guaranteed to get some stick off those fans!

Spurs 1-1 Fulham

It’s been a difficult period for Spurs. I’ve got to be honest, I thought they were so poor in that North London derby, they barely threated against Arsenal. They got a few goals in Paris but again, they were so poor at the back and that’s with 5 defenders playing!

That was a massive win for Fulham last week and that should relax them a bit. They still have a lot of good players in this side, even if it has been a tricky start to the season.

I can actually see Fulham going here and really frustrating Spurs. 1-1.

One to watch- If Fulham are to get something, they might need former Arsenal man Bernd Leno to be at his best in the sticks.

Palace 1-1 Man United

Palace are having another amazing season and are still well in the race for the top four. They’ve got such a busy period coming up but Glasner seems to be managing the squad well and they keep getting results!

I couldn’t believe what I was watching from United the other night. Just when it felt like Amorim was getting some momentum and then this happens and all of a sudden, he’s under huge pressure again!

I think Palace get something here.

One to watch – I do like Mateta, he’s such a handful.

West Ham 1-1 Liverpool

I know Nuno will be disappointed to lose a two-goal lead to Bournemouth but that’s still seven points from nine, he’s clearly making an impact.

Where do I start? I can’t believe what I’ve been watching! I know everyone keeps going on about how bad Liverpool have been at the back, but they’ve hardly been great going forward.

West Ham will clearly fancy their chances here and I can see them getting a point.

One to watch – It has to be Isak, I’m so surprised at how long it’s taken the lad to find his form for Liverpool.

Villa 2-0 Wolves

Villa have had such a great few weeks and all of a sudden, they’ve got real momentum and look as good as anyone outside of Arsenal. Things change so quickly in this league, its remarkable!

Rob Edwards has a massive job on his hands here to try and get some confidence back in this Wolves side. His biggest problem to begin with is that there’s just no easy fixtures in this league and you worry where the points will come from.

This should be a comfortable home win.

One to watch- Morgan Rogers was magnificent at Elland Road last week and has really been in great form of late.

Forest 1-0 Brighton

To go to Anfield and win 3-0 must have been beyond Sean Dyche’s wildest dreams. I keep saying it, this is an excellent Forest side, I can’t believe they started the season so badly.

Danny Welbeck delivered yet again for Brighton last week and that’s them firmly back in the top six hunt.

I think Forest win this, potentially from a set-piece.

One to watch- Murillo was absolutely brilliant at Anfield and even chipped in with the opener. Dyche must already love that pairing of him and Milenkovic.

Chelsea 0-2 Arsenal

Chelsea are getting better and better under Maresca, and that win over Barcelona will only boost the squad’s belief. A word too on the young lad Estevao, what a talent he looks like!

Are Arsenal the best team in Europe right now? They just might be!  They were brilliant in that second half against Bayern Munich and I look at the side and just don’t see how they drop points, they barely concede!

As good as Chelsea have been, how can I not say Arsenal?

One to watch – Madueke could be an interesting one here. He joined in the summer from Chelsea of course, and he was excellent against Bayern.
