Goalkeeper:

In goal, it has to be David Raya. The lad made some magnificent saves in big moments for his side, and it was a big reason Arsenal won the league. I immediately think of that big save he made away at West Ham, that could have been such a huge turning point for both sides.

Defenders:

Truth be told, the back four could all be Arsenal players but I’m picking Daniel Munoz at right-back. This lad’s a good player; he’s such a threat on that right for Palace. He really suits this system, and he’s been a mainstay for the last couple of seasons.

It has to be William Saliba and Gabriel as the pairing. Those two are just fantastic and form a top, top pairing. They compliment each other so well and if they can stay together for another season or two, they’ll go down as one of the best pairings we’ve seen in the Premier League.

Nico O’Reilly will be my left-back, I’ve loved watching this lad this season. I know there’s question marks about his long-term position but boy is he good as a left-back and he really did chip in with some vital goals too. It’s been a brilliant season for him, and it looks like he’ll end it by starting for England at the World Cup.

Midfielders:

Bruno Fernandes is a must, a no-brainer. He broke the assist record, and his general performances were superb in what was an encouraging season for United. The lad’s obviously been a brilliant player for years, but this was probably his best season for United and he’s developed into a real leader for his side too. He’s probably been the league’s star player but there’s some great candidates on that one!

Declan Rice is another easy one. I’ve always liked Declan and he’s had another great season. There’s not many better in world football than him these days, he’s such an amazing athlete and he dominates that area of the pitch. He’s one of the first names on the team sheet for club and country and for good reason.

I think Morgan Gibbs-White has to be in this side, I love watching him. The boy’s been a great talent for years, but he’s really put it all together this season and added lots of goals to his game. He’s such a talisman for Forest and looks like a great captain. I’ve got to say, I couldn’t believe he wasn’t in the England squad, he couldn’t have done any more for his club.

Forwards:

Antoine Semenyo’s had a great season, for two clubs! He was fantastic for Bournemouth and since moving to City, he’s been superb and looks like he’s been in the side for years. He’s such a great finisher and is a massive threat in the final third. He’s a great story too, a guy that’s really worked his way up the divisions.

Morgan Rogers had a quiet spell in the second half of the season but for the first half, he might have been the league’s best player. Game after game, this lad was making the difference for his side with his goals and running power. England obviously have some brilliant options in this position but don’t be surprised if he starts, Tuchel clearly likes him a lot and no wonder!

People take Erling Haaland for granted. I haven’t seen too many plaudits for him of late, the guy scored 27 goals in the league and assisted another 8! If that was anyone else, that would be the season of his life but for Haaland, it’s almost expected now. He’s such a scoring machine.

Harry Redknapp’s Premier League Manager Of The Season For 2025-26

Manager is difficult because there’s some really good options this season. Here’s a few:

  • Keith Andrews deserves a lot of plaudits, a lot of people had Brentford down to really struggle this year. They lost their two star forwards, their captain and their manager last summer but he’s been brilliant and they almost got into Europe.
  • Andoni Iraola’s been amazing since he arrived at Bournemouth, but this year was special. Maybe people have forgot but he lost almost his entire defence last summer and they’ve gone and had a better season! For Bournemouth to get into the Europa League and almost get into the Champions League is remarkable. Boy will he be missed!
  • I can’t believe I’m leaving off Mikel Arteta, if he wins the Champions League he’ll obviously be the winner! I think it has to be Unai Emery though. People forget, Villa started the season in really poor form and didn’t exactly spend a lot last summer. For them to finish in the top four and win the Europa League is brilliant, particularly given those circumstances. I’m not sure anyone has done a better job at their respective clubs since Emery’s arrived at Villa.
