2023 Cheltenham Results & Winners

Cheltenham Festival Results in text

Welcome to our complete list of Cheltenham Festival results for 2023. The event this year was nothing short of extraordinary. With 28 thrilling races and 14 Grade One contests, it brought together the best horses, trainers, and jockeys in an unmissable display of skill and competition.

Among the Cheltenham races winners this year, one pairing, Galopin Des Champs and jockey Paul Townend, who won the Gold Cup 2023, emerged as legendary figures. At one point in the race, the pair was at the back of the field of 13 horses, before charging up from the rear and beating the big English hope, Bravemansgame, by seven lengths. The Willie Mullins trained 7-5 favourite is now the 29th Irish-trained Gold Cup winner. While this was certainly the most dramatic of the Cheltenham festival race results, there was plenty of action and drama, and a few surprises in the rest of the events, as you will see below.

What were the winners at Cheltenham?

Here is a complete list of the Cheltenham festival race results, including 2nd and 3rd place horses, along with the jockey and trainers, for every race at Cheltenham festival in 2023.
