Play Fortune Roulette

Roulette apparently wasn’t unpredictable enough, so we now get random multipliers, a prize collecting Chest Number and a separate bonus round. Fortune Roulette keeps Pragmatic Play’s single zero wheel at the centre, but gives every inside wager access to several additional outcomes. 

We still recognise the standard betting grid immediately. The difference arrives after betting closes, when selected numbers receive multipliers and the Bonus and Chest symbols find their places on the table. 

We enter a red and gold live studio where the roulette wheel remains front and centre. A large digital display behind the presenter shows the selected multipliers clearly, while the betting interface handles the Bonus Number, Chest Number and any feature animations. 

The styling has the familiar Pragmatic Play sheen without turning the studio into a fantasy palace or sweet shop. We get enough gold to suggest fortune, naturally, but the physical wheel and presenter still receive most of our attention. 

When the bonus activates, we move from the roulette table to a three row, five column slot grid. Those of us familiar with Pragmatic Play’s live games will recognise the switch immediately. Multiplier values fill the reels, Chests handle the collections and a progress meter records how close we are to additional spins. 

We play Fortune Roulette on a European wheel containing 37 pockets numbered from 0 to 36. During the betting phase, we can place inside and outside wagers through the standard digital roulette layout. 

Inside wagers cover individual numbers or compact groups: 

• A straight up wager covers one number and pays 23 to 1. 
• A split covers two adjacent numbers and pays 11 to 1. 
• A street covers three numbers and pays 7 to 1. 
• A corner covers four numbers and pays 5 to 1. 
• A six line covers six numbers and pays 3 to 1. 

Outside wagers retain their usual roulette payouts. Red or black, odd or even and low or high pay 1 to 1, while dozens and columns pay 2 to 1. 

The reduced inside payouts fund the game’s additional mechanics. Unlike several multiplier roulette variations, Fortune Roulette doesn’t restrict those enhancements to straight up bets. Every inside wager can qualify for a multiplier, Chest collection or bonus activation. 

The eventual reward depends on how many numbers the wager covers. A straight up selection receives the full enhanced value, while a split receives half, a street receives one third, a corner receives one quarter and a six line receives one sixth. 

Fortune Multipliers 

After betting closes, up to six numbers receive Fortune Multipliers. Each selected number can carry an enhanced value reaching 540x. 

When the ball lands on one of those numbers and our inside wager contains the result, the multiplier replaces the normal inside payout. The amount we receive depends on the wager type and its share of the winning number. 

For example, a straight up wager receives the entire multiplier. A split containing the number receives half of that value because the chip also covers one other pocket. 

Outside wagers don’t qualify for Fortune Multipliers. They continue to resolve according to their standard roulette payouts. 

Chest Number 

One number receives a Chest symbol during each round. When the ball lands on that number and we’ve covered it with an inside wager, the Chest collects all Fortune Multipliers displayed on the betting grid. 

This can create a larger combined result than landing on one multiplied number alone. When six enhanced values appear, the Chest gathers the entire set before adjusting the total according to our wager type. 

The Chest Number doesn’t need to be one of the Fortune Multiplier numbers. Its value comes from collecting the multipliers elsewhere on the table rather than carrying one itself. 

Bonus Number 

A separate number receives the Bonus symbol. When that number wins and we’ve included it within an inside wager, we move into the Fortune Roulette bonus round. 

All inside wager types qualify. We don’t need to place a straight up chip directly on the selected number, although broader wagers receive a proportional share of the eventual bonus reward. 

The Bonus Number is chosen again for every roulette round. A number selected during one spin doesn’t retain its special status once the next betting period begins. 

Fortune Bonus Round 

The bonus uses a three row, five column slot grid containing multiplier values and Chest symbols. We begin with five bonus spins. 

Multiplier symbols don’t pay simply by appearing. We need a Chest to land on a reel before the values shown on that reel are collected. A screen full of numbers without a Chest therefore creates plenty of noise but not much accounting. 

Every Chest also advances the progress meter. The milestones work as follows: 

• The first three Chests award five additional spins and apply a 2x multiplier. 
• Six collected Chests award another five spins and increase the modifier to 5x. 
• Nine collected Chests award five more spins and raise the modifier to 10x. 

The meter remains active throughout the round, so early Chest symbols can extend the feature and strengthen later collections. When no spins remain, the game totals the gathered values and adjusts the result according to the inside wager that triggered the bonus. 

Each round begins with the betting period. We can place chips directly on the layout, use the racetrack for neighbour and section wagers or repeat a previously saved betting pattern. 

The presenter starts the physical wheel before the betting window closes. Once no more wagers are accepted, the Fortune Multipliers, Chest Number and Bonus Number are assigned. The ball then settles into one of the 37 pockets. 

Regular roulette bets resolve first. When the result carries a Fortune Multiplier, Chest or Bonus symbol, the corresponding mechanic takes over. Only one roulette number wins, but the selected feature can substantially change how that number pays. 

Our inside wager must contain the winning number to benefit from its enhancement. Covering the Bonus Number through a street or corner still qualifies, although the resulting value is divided according to the number of pockets included in that wager. 

A recent results panel records previous outcomes, as we commonly see across online casinos. That information can help us follow the table, but no result makes another number more or less likely on the next spin. 

These live titles also combine familiar casino formats with multipliers or separate bonus mechanics. 

• Gates of Olympus Roulette: Pragmatic Play adds Lucky Numbers, a Bonus Number and a Zeus themed slot sequence to a European roulette wheel. 
• Mega Roulette: Randomly selected numbers receive enhanced values, producing a simpler alternative without Fortune Roulette’s Chest and bonus grid. 
• Auto Mega Roulette: Several randomly triggered powers modify potential roulette outcomes, making the format busier than a standard multiplier table. 

Our first impression is that Fortune Roulette has gathered most of the popular multiplier roulette ideas and put them into one studio. Random enhanced numbers are present, naturally, but the Chest and bonus round prevent the release from feeling like another roulette table with larger figures floating above it. 

Letting every inside wager qualify is the strongest decision. We’re not forced to rely entirely on straight up number bets to access the interesting parts. Splits, streets, corners and six lines can all reach the features, albeit with reduced shares that reflect their broader coverage. 

The Chest Number is the neatest addition. Collecting every multiplier on the layout gives us a clear reason to follow the entire board rather than stare only at our chosen pockets. Of course, watching six large multipliers appear before the ball lands somewhere entirely unrelated remains a recognised roulette tradition. 

The bonus round creates more separation from Mega Roulette and similar tables. We’re temporarily playing a slot rather than roulette, but the Chest collection and wager based scaling keep the feature connected to the qualifying bet. 

Outside wager users receive a much plainer experience. Red, black, odd, even, dozens and columns retain their normal rules, but most of Fortune Roulette’s personality belongs to the inside grid. We’d describe this as a strong hybrid for those of us who already favour number based wagers, rather than a complete reinvention of roulette for every betting style.
