It seems rather interesting that two Premier League sides would be so open to trading players, yet it seems United and Chelsea are back in the news again with several stars being mooted to make the switch, should the terms be right. While Garnacho is being sought after by the Blues, the speculation is that Joao Felix could go the other way. The Red Devils appear to be one of the favourites to secure his name in the final days of the January transfer window with Chelsea already having a surplus of players and Felix having started just a few games this season. The transfer of Joao Felix could be an opportune way to raise some cash and to even strike a deal with the United winger that they seem determined to stay in the race for. Let’s have a look at the Joao Felix transfer odds to see which other clubs are tipped to be potential destinations for the Portuguese striker.
Top Joao Felix Transfer Odds
At the time of writing, and reviewing all the Joao Felix transfer news, there are three main teams in the line for his signature. Third are Aston Villa, with odds of 8/1 that would see a £10 bet pay out £90 if correct. While Ollie Watkins has performed well this season, with Durán the subject of several bids, Villa could do well from securing Felix’s signature and he would likely see a decent amount of game time.
Second in the running is none other than Manchester United, who with transfer odds of 4/1 and the same £10 stake returning £50, are in a similar boat to Villa. With Rashford outcast and likely to leave, not to mention Garnacho potentially exiting and several other stars underperforming, a Portuguese star who could link up with Fernandes would be a great shout for them, although only if they can make it work with their FFP issues.
Finally, in pole position are AC Milan, at 2/1 with £10 wagered paying £30 should Felix move. While Milan have been in the news for Giminez already, it seems the deal is proving hard to complete. Considering several of their other strikes are struggling in front of goal, a quick buy for Joao Felix who has played for big clubs including Barcelona, Atlético Madrid and Chelsea, could solve their problems as they look to improve on their current 7th place Serie A standing. While no official bids appear to have been submitted as of yet, it seems a matter of time before the latest transfer odds spark into life incoming demands for the surplus striker.
Will Joao Felix Leave Chelsea?
For now, it seems as though it’s a case of playing the waiting game, although his omission for the recent City game did create some rumours until it was revealed that he was granted compassionate leave for a bereavement. With Chelsea in 6th place currently and eager to break into the top 4 for the chance of Champions League football next season, it’s likely that we won’t see Felix on the 3rd February against West Ham. However we will endeavour to update you with any changes or new clubs ahead of the transfer window close, and in the meantime, why not take a look at the Premier League betting odds ahead of the Blues game in a weeks’ time.
