Next Hearts Manager Odds: Rene Hake And Dick Schreuder Lead The Market For Tynecastle Role

With Derek McInnes on the brink of taking over at Rangers, the next Hearts manager odds market has been released here on BetVictor. And there are a number of intriguing names who have been linked with the Tynecastle Park gig.

McInnes will replace Danny Rohl at Ibrox later this week, according to various sources. The highly-rated German gaffer is on his way to Austrian Bundesliga side RB Salzburg with the Gers moving quick to fill the void.

Now, it’s the Jambos turn to fill the dugout for the 2026-27 campaign. McInnes was only in Edinburgh for a single season and came agonisingly close to landing a historic Scottish Premiership championship. However, the 54-year-old saw Celtic land the title on the last day of the campaign.

Here at BetVictor News, we take a closer look at the most likely contenders in the next Hearts manager odds market. And at the time of writing, there are two names in particular who are favoured to potentially head to the capital in the coming weeks.

Next Hearts Manager Odds: Rene Hake And Dick Schreuder The Early Favourites

Rene Hake is the current 3/1 favourite to be named the new manager of Hearts. The Dutchman is no stranger to British football having served as an assistant to Erik Ten Hag at Man United in 2024. Hake didn’t last long at Old Trafford, though. Once Ten Hag was dismissed, Hake followed him out of the Old Trafford door; lasting just four months with the Red Devils.

The 54-year-old has spent his entire managerial career in his native Holland. Hake is known for his attacking approach whilst also encouraging a solid defensive approach. He also has plenty of experience with teams that play possession-based football. Something of which would fit the Hearts model.

Meanwhile, fellow Dutchman Dick Schreuder is also in contention at 4/1. The current NEC manager led the Eredivisie side to third last season and is highly regarded in the Netherlands. Similar to Hake, he adopts positive and free-flowing football while also ensuring his teams remain tight at the back. Again, something of which Hearts would seek as they aim to go one better than last year.

100/1

Robbie Keane, Liam Rosenior, Scott Parker And Damian Duff All In Contention For The Hearts Job

As it stands, Robbie Keane is 5/1 in the next Hearts manager odds market. The Irishman’s short career in the dugout with Maccabi Haifa and Ferencvaros has seen the former Celtic man win two league titles. Hence why he is a strong contender for the Jambos as well as an 8/1 shot in the next Burnley manager odds market.

Elsewhere, a the trio of Liam Rosenior, Scott Parker and Damian Duff are all available at 12/1. Brian Barry Murphy and John Eustace are listed at 14s with ex-England internationals Steven Gerrard and John Terry online at 16/1.
