A busy day for flat fans with five cards across the UK and Ireland. Epsom, Bath Tipperary, Musselburgh and Thirsk are the locations you will find action today. It was nice to get a winner at Brighton yesterday, today we aim to make it back-to-back winning NAPs.
NAP of the Day
We head to the criminally underused Epsom for the NAP of the day. Whilst it isn’t a track all horses handle, given its location and facilities, it is a venue I hope we get to see more of in the coming years. We have a couple of old favourites in the six furlong class three handicap at 7.25 and I am going to take the market leader Mr Wagyu on with Indian Creek. His five runs at this venue have returned two wins and two seconds with only one poor effort. He took this contest 12 months ago off a mark 2 pounds higher and, whilst he has Mr Wagyu to contend with, it means we are getting a nice price about Indian Creek here.
