The 14:10 at Exeter is a cracking limited handicap over three miles. You can make cases for a few in here but Passing Well represents the in-form BetVictor sponsored duo of Jamie Snowden and Gavin Sheehan and is the selection.
I like the look of his chances as he moves up in trip and he was third at Newbury staying on eye-catchingly well to end up a close third. The winner, Henry’s Friend, has since won again, and the fourth from that run has also scored since.
The favourite in this one, The Changing Man, warrants respect based on his first chase start where he gave Stay Away Fay a fright and is likely to find this race an easier assignment than the grade two at Warwick he struggled in last time out.
Whilst I understand that many will be keen on him, for me Passing Well is just the right price to take him on with and has enough form in the book to suggest he can be competitive here.
