A busy Thursday with Chester potentially offering more classic clues, we also have action at Gowran and Brighton on the Flat, jumping at Huntingdon, Tipperary and Stratford plus and all weather card at Chelmsford.
Nap Of The Day
After yesterday’s disappointment of a NAP at Chester I have opted to look at Brighton’s card.
It is another racecourse that can be categorized as a unique test. Horses seem to either take to the Sussex venue or not handle its significant camber.
One horse who is proven to enjoy it is Elforleather who is looking to follow up just nine days on since his win here. A six pound penalty for the course and distance win is manageable, the drying ground looks a plus and trainer Jack Channon seems bang in form with a 37% strike rate in the last two weeks.
