It was great to land a decent-priced winner yesterday. Thursday has plenty of action with Naas (NAP), Southwell and Clonmel. Sadly, we have lost the Warwick card as the rain continues to blight the jumps season. All-weather action comes from Lingfield and Wolverhampton.
NAP of the Day
We are going to head to Ireland for the NAP and the last at Naas which is a bumper. Seven go to post here and it includes a rare Henry De Bromhead horse in this kind of contest. Forty Coats arrives for his rules debut having won a point-to-point in February. Since then, the fifth and sixth from that contest have gone on to win. Whilst I do find it hard to weigh up point-to-point form, its certainly at least encouraging to see some substance to that only ever run. You would be in significant profit had you blindly backed Henry’s bumper horses at Naas, all be it from a small sample. The yard is going ok too with three winners from their last ten runners. Whilst the young rider lacks some experience, he has already won a race for the team and I think Forty Coats will make that another in the closing race at Naas.
