It was great to get the NAP back to winning ways yesterday and I was really taken with Dancing City who should take high rank next season in the novice chase division. Today, we have action at Redcar, Ayr and Donny on the flat, Chelmsford and Lingfield offer all-weather action and Punchestown is your only, but top notch jumps card.
Today, for the NAP, I have come back to Bloody Destiny who I really had fancied for the Cheltenham Festival but never went and some felt had disappointed when he was beaten by Spillane’s Tower in January. With what we know now I think it is fair to say that the form around that horse is to be very well regarded. He went on to beat him at Navan before the tables were turned once again over Easter at Fairyhouse. The one possible question I suppose could be the ground, personally I think looking at the better types No Risk At All the Sire has produced the sounder surface won’t be too much of a problem. I suspect this will be another big winner for Paul Townend in his championship battle with Jack Kennedy.
