I can’t believe what happened to the NAP at Wincaton yesterday. We travelled all over the eventual winner and it was just the jump at the last which cost us. Lets aim to go one better today where the pick will come from Wetherby in a junior novice hurdle. This two mile contest has a clear favourite I am desperate to keep on side. Ben Pauling’s Wreckless Eric was a popular pick on debut at Newbury to get the better of the more experienced Valadon. It was a close contest which just went the wrong way by less than a length for Wreckless Eric backers. Since then Ben Pauling has really hit top gear and this looks fine placement to go one better at a track that should suit in a weaker contest.
