A busy Thursday of racing with the racing league at Windsor tonight live on ITV, two all weather cards at Dundalk and Chelmsford, Flat cards at Salisbury, Beverley and Chepstow. We also have a jumps card at Tramore. It was a slightly disappointing run from the nap yesterday who went off odd on but finished last of three, it was reported after the race that The Parthenon lost a shoe which may go some way to explain the run.

Lots of racing today but I did find it hard to have a strong view, I ended up feeling that Gold Star Hero at Chelmsford was potentially a shade overpriced in the six furlong novice. Fourth on debut at Redcar I think he will have learnt plenty from that experience. He will need to be slightly more professional and settle better today but Michael Bell is going nicely at the moment with his runners and at around 9/2 I felt he offered a bit of value compared to the short price favourite Fire Flame who made his debut at Ascot last month.
