It was great to start the week with a well backed winner yesterday at Lingfield, today we have four cards with jumping at Roscommon in Ireland, two flat turf cards at Catterick and Ffos Las plus an all weather card at Chelmsford.
Nap Of The Day
It feels a day with anything nap worthy is just too short, Bold Impact in the maiden at 3.05 is too skinny for me in different conditions, Fine Interview should win the 3.40 at but 2/5 I can leave that alone.
We are still going to head to Wales for the nap where the Ffos Las track has had plenty of recent rain which has seen to going ease to the softer side. With potential for a little more during racing I wanted a horse who I was confident in handling the conditions. For me Questionable looks overpriced for the in-form Dan and Claire Kubler. Currently in the last two weeks they have nearly a 30% strike rate and have had plenty of placed horses. I think a double-digit price is too big about this filly by Time Test. She is yet to win a race but her two runs on turf in handicap have seen a couple of good efforts including a second at Haydock on soft ground. The run at Chelmsford last time out just must be ignored and I hope the return to turf off a mark of 67 will yield a good result.
Sadly, with less than eight going to post it is only two places on offer, but I will be playing this horse in all the markets we offer such as W/O the fav, Win and Each Way. A slightly different type of bet for us today but hopefully one that can prove profitable.
