It was great to land a winning start to the week as Lord Melbourne ran out an impressive winner of the amateur Derby at Epsom yesterday. Today we have a busy enough Tuesday with flat racing at Musselburgh, Bellewstown and Ripon, Lingfield hosts an all-weather card whilst we have jumps action at Stratford.

The fillies maiden at 5.38 wouldn’t be the strongest contest and I think that Creative Lady the standard setter and current favourite can go one better than her two starts to date and score over seven furlongs. Amy Murphy’s horse made her debut at the Surrey track when finishing second to Love Is the Law on turf.
She then followed up next time out in a novice, Creative Lady then went to Epsom where she was second again to a nice enough horse. The switch to the all-weather should suit her given she is related to an all weather winner, I think she can improve again and take this second race on the card at Lingfield today.
