Once you know how to play, Baccarat is a pretty simple game. The main objective is to predict whether the Player hand or the Banker hand will have a total closest to 9.

All bets will be placed before two cards are dealt to the two hands (Player hand and Banker hand). The Player hand will receive the first card and the next card goes to the Banker hand. This is then repeated so both hands have two cards each. You'll be able to bet on either hand.

Tens and face cards (Jack, Queen, King) all have a face value of zero, while aces are worth one. All other cards score their face value. If either hand scores more than 9, then the score will be adjusted by taking 10 off the total.

Once all cards are dealt, the winning hand will be calculated, and winning bets will be declared. Should the two hands tie, no hand is declared the winner.

If the point total from the first two cards dealt is either 8 or 9, it is called a "Natural Win". At this point the game is over and all bets are cashed out.

Perhaps the most confusing element of Baccarat is the third card rules. The player will stand if their total is 6 or 7. However, if their total is 0-5 then they will draw a third card. The banker draws with a hand total of 0-5, or in any of the following scenarios:

1. The Player's third card is 9, 10, face-card or Ace = the Bank draws when they have a 0-3 and stays with a 4-7
2. The Player's third card is 8 = the Banker draws when they have a 0-2 and stays with a 3-7.
3. The Player's third card is 6 or 7 = the Banker draws when they have a 0-6 and stays with a 7.
4. The Player's third card is 4 or 5 = the Banker draws when they have a 0-5 and stays with a 6-7.
5. The Player's third card is 2 or 3 = the Banker draws when they have a 0-4 and stays with a 5-7.
