Victor Chandler out in front for match day prices - Earn up to 50% more with Oddschecker on individual matches*

To help punters get best value when completing their football coupons, leading online betting comparison site, Oddschecker has analysed data across the whole of the 2010/11 Premier League season to determine which bookmakers offered the best prices on football’s domestic elite. Having looked at all 380 top flight fixtures last season, Oddschecker identified that Victor Chandler had produced a table-topping performance by offering the best average prices, the best price most often across the season and the best prices most often on match days for the outright match market.

Occupying the other ‘Top Four’ positions alongside Victor Chandler were Bet365, Boylesports and Paddy Power for best average prices and Stan James, Sky Bet and Betfred for best prices most often.

A focus on match day prices, when the majority of football bets are placed, highlights that Victor Chandler were out in front ahead of Betfred, Stan James and Bet365.

Snap shot data prices are taken, on average, every two hours (between 10am -8pm), five days before each game from every bookmaker on the Oddschecker panel, totaling 90 snapshots per game, per bookmaker. Please note that Ladbrokes did not feature on Oddschecker last year (although now does) and Extrabet and Eurosport Bet do not currently feature on Oddschecker but all the above are included for completeness. The exchanges already have standard commission taken off, Betfair 5%, Betdaq 5%, WBX 3%. The snap shots are taken on the outright match market only.

BetVictor tops the table for 2011/12 Football Betting

Analysis of football data from the 2011/12 season by leading online betting comparison site Oddschecker has revealed BetVictor to be the bookmaker offering best prices on average across all the sport’s top competitions.

The study of betting data from all fixtures across domestic and European competitions in 2011/12 has shown that BetVictor offered on average 60% better value than the median price across Oddschecker’s panel of 22 bookmakers for match betting.

In fact, for England’s second domestic cup competition, the Carling Cup and the npower Championship, BetVictor prices were on average 71% better. The bookmaker also topped the bookies’ table for the 2011/12 FA Cup and the Europa League with 60% better value than the average price offered.
