GAME OVERVIEW:

  • Super Graphics Upside‐Down is a five reel, multi‐line slot machine with a Japanese theme.
  • The player can choose to play any number of win lines from 1 to 20.
  • The Jackpot is 5,000 times the ‘Stake per Line’ and is won by getting a full house of ‘7’ symbols or by accumulating wins during the ‘Free Spins’ bonus round. There is also a ‘WILD’ symbol which substitutes for all other symbols except the Scatter symbol.
  • Three or more Scatter symbols in view awards a Scatter Award and a ‘Free Spins’ bonus round. During the ‘Free Spins’ bonus round the reels turn upside‐down offering a more generous distribution of symbols.

 

GAME PLAY:

 

REAL TO REEL (SWITCH VIEW) OPTION:

Super Graphics Upside‐Down can be played from two different views.

  • Full Cabinet View.
  • Close‐up view of the reels only.

Press the ‘Real 2 Reel’ (Switch View) button on the frame to toggle between the views.

 

STARTING THE GAME:

The game can be played by either:

  • Pressing the ‘Start’ button to spin the reels.
  • Pressing the ‘Auto’ button to set up the Auto Play options.

 

PAYOUTS:

When a winning line is obtained:

  • The winning symbols will be highlighted, animated and will be outlined in the win line colour.
  • The win line and payout information will be displayed in the ‘Information Display’
  • The total amount won will be shown in the ‘Win’ and ‘Paid’ displays
  • If multiple wins are obtained, the wins will be advertised in sequence from the highest through to the lowest. The wins will rotate through until any button is pressed; this will also clear the ‘Information Display’ and the ‘Win/Paid Display’.
  • Super Graphics Upside‐Down has a maximum payout of 5,000 times the ‘Stake per Line’, per game. Any payouts over this value will be ignored.
  • All win line payouts must appear on an active win line consecutively from the far left reel. Only the highest win per active win line is awarded.

 

FREE SPINS BONUS ROUND:

A ‘Free Spins’ bonus round is activated when three or more Scatter symbols (Super Graphics) appear in the window at any one time. Scatter symbols are valid in any position regardless of the number of Lines in Play.

When three or more Scatter symbols appear in the window:

  • Any coincidental win line payouts are displayed in the ‘Win/Paid Display’.
  • The payout for the Scatter symbols is added to the ‘Win/Paid Display’.
  • Satsuki (Japanese character) will appear and award 15 ‘Free Spins’.
  • The reels will rotate upside‐down.

Pressing ‘Start’ will begin each spin in the ‘Free Spins’ bonus round; during which:

  • The total payout for any wins will be displayed as the ‘Total Win’ in the centre of the ‘Information Display’..
  • The number of ‘Free Spins’ left to play will be displayed in the right hand side of the ‘Information Display’.
  • Win line payouts are as per normal game play.
  • The ‘Free Spins’ bonus round can be re‐triggered until the maximum prize is reached.

When the ‘Free Spins’ bonus round is complete:

  • The total win will be shown as large numbers over the reels.
  • The reels will rotate back to their correct position.
  • The total win will be shown in both the ‘Information Display’ and the ‘Win/Paid display’.

Note: The maximum that can be won during the ‘Free Spins’ bonus round is the Jackpot value. (5,000 x ‘Stake per Line’) Any payouts over this value, or unused ‘Free Spins’, will be ignored.

 

AUTO PLAY SETUP OPTIONS:

Pressing the ‘Auto’ button displays the Auto Play options screen. Here, the player can control the following options:

Number of Games to Play:

  • This option allows the player to choose the maximum number of games to be played during Auto Play. Once started, Auto Play will continue to play until either this value is reached or any other options cause Auto Play to cease.
  • Pressing the arrow button displays a drop‐down box with the available range to choose from.
  • Clicking on a value in the list selects the number of games to be played.

When to stop Auto Play:

  • This option allows Auto Play to be automatically cancelled when winnings, within one game, reach the selected amount.
  • Pressing the arrow button displays a drop‐down box with the available range to choose from.
  • Clicking on a value in the list selects the amount at which Auto Play is cancelled.

What to do when a Feature is won:

  • This option allows the player to choose what happens when a feature is obtained.
  • Selecting ‘Cancel Auto Play’ will stop game play (and Auto Play) when the ‘Free Spins’ bonus round is won. The game will then wait for the player to start the feature.
  • Selecting ‘Automatically play feature’ will cause game play (and Auto Play) to continue when the ‘Free Spins’ bonus round is won. The ‘Free Spins’ bonus round will be played out automatically and Auto Play will continue afterwards.

Fast Reel Spin:

  • This option allows the player to control the length of the reel spin and is only available during Auto Play.
  • Selecting ‘Off’ will cause the reels to spin for the usual length during Auto Play.
  • Selecting ‘On’ will cause the reels to spin for a shorter time during Auto Play.

 

RESUME MODE:

In the event of a game being interrupted an error box will be displayed.

DURING NORMAL PLAY:

The game will return to the last known point, displaying any winnings in the ‘Paid Display’ and ‘Win Display’ if applicable.

DURING THE 'FREE SPINS' BONUS ROUND:

  • The game will return to the ‘Free Spins’ bonus round splash screen.
  • The ‘Free Spins’ Bonus Round will continue from the last known point on pressing of the feature Pentagram button. The remaining number of ‘Free Spins’ and the ‘Total Win’ will be displayed in the ‘Information Display’.
