BJ Stand or Bust
BlackJack Stand or Bust Information & Game Rules
Blackjack Stand Or Bust is a fixed odds betting game based on the popular card game Blackjack. The object of the game is to correctly guess whether at the end of the Dealer's hand, the Dealer will Stand or Bust, based on the player's choice of starting card for the hand. The Dealer is the only player in the Blackjack game, so the player is betting only on the outcome of the Dealer's hand - they are not playing against the Dealer.
The player picks one card out of the four presented to be the Dealer's starting card, and selects whether they think the Dealer will Stand or Bust with that card. The amounts displayed beside each card show what they will win if they are correct. Payouts are based on the amount of the stake and the actual odds of each possible outcome. The player's selection will appear on the table as the dealer's first card. The Dealer's second card will be dealt face up. The Dealer will then Hit (i.e., take another card) if the hand is worth less than 17, or Stand if the hand is worth between 17 and 21 (including 'soft' values, i.e., counting the Ace as 11).
If the Dealer Hits and the hand exceeds 21, the hand is Bust.
The game is played with 1 deck of cards. The 3 discarded starting cards are shuffled back into the deck before the second card is dealt, so the same cards could appear again in the game. If the player's prediction is incorrect, the game ends. If correct, the winnings aren't immediately added to the player's balance. The amount won becomes the amount of their current bet. If they win again, the difference between the amount bet and the amount won is added to their bet. This continues until they end the game by clicking on Bank All or lose a bet.
For every win, the player can just continue playing or choose: Bank All - adds the amount won to their balance and ends the current game; Bank Half - adds half the amount won to their balance and wagers the other half on the next round. The same round continues, i.e., the cards aren't dealt again and they don't lose any accumulated Shuffles; Double Stake - doubles the bet on the next prediction. If they win, their winnings will automatically be doubled, but if they lose, they also lose double the stake. They may not be able to select Double Stake if they have exceeded the maximum double stake or the maximum bet amount set in CyberBoss.
Shuffles
The player is awarded a set number of initial Shuffles with every deal. If they do not wish to bet on any of the cards offered, they can press Shuffle to receive four new starting cards. In this way, they can play with the odds they like. For every win, an extra Shuffle bar is highlighted. If the player has four wins in a row they instantly receive an extra Shuffle.
